As the convenience store and petroleum industry continues to evolve, training the next-generation leaders of tomorrow is more important than ever before. The National Advisory Group’s (NAG) Young Executive Organization (YEO) is solely focused on creating a network for next-generation leaders that allows them to exchange personal experiences with peers in their age group.
YEO is proud to announce that Stacey Davis, Manager of Marketing with Clifford Fuel Co., Inc. has joined the YEO Board of Directors.
Davis has worked for Clifford Fuel since the fall of 2016. She completed her undergraduate degree in Government and Politics at Utica College and earned her Master’s in Interactive Media from Quinnipiac University in 2016.
When Davis joined Clifford Fuel, she immersed herself right away in the company’s complete rebrand of its Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes franchises to the Cliff’s Local Market banner.
“I worked closely with the team to develop a brand personality, marketing plan, new website, signage, and more,” said Davis. “We tackled every possible outlet of brand perception to create one cohesive message. I became familiar with the NAG family and have been eager to get more involved since.”
Before joining Clifford Fuel, Davis served as Interactive Marketing Specialist at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute, an art museum and college. Davis got her start in marketing working as an intern with the AHL’s Utica Comets hockey team and went on to explore local television ad sales/advertising agencies where she learned graphic design and web coding.
A mutual friend she had met working with the Comets introduced Davis to Clifford Fuel’s General Manager, Peter Tamburro.
“I’ve explored industries in entertainment, sports, retail, arts and education,” Davis said. “When Peter approached me, it was clearly the perfect fit.”
Davis’ well-rounded resume is matched by her active lifestyle. Davis said that she’s very into powersports – her family owns a Polaris snowmobile, off-road vehicle and motorcycle dealership – and has been riding snowmobiles since she could sit up straight. She also recently learned how to ride motorcycles.
“I spend most of my time outside, winter or summer,” she said. “I ride my bicycle every day and I’ve been golfing since I was five years old.”
When she does have time on her hands inside, Davis said that she likes to be in the kitchen by cooking and baking.
Davis lives in Rome, N.Y., with Frankie, her 9-month-old Bichon Poodle.
