Fail Fast

Despite best efforts, inevitably some hires aren’t going to be a strong fit and won’t work out.

If you realize you’ve made a hiring mistake, learn to fail fast, Kleiman advised.

If you hire the wrong person, make sure to let them go before their negative attitude or poor work ethic starts to poison the rest of the team. A players want to work for companies with other A players, and if you tolerate a subpar employee, you’re at risk of losing your best employees.
