Events Overview

NAG hosts an annual event with the goal of growing relationships and driving profits for small, mid-sized, and family owned convenience chains. Retail attendees and the participating sponsor attendees will learn, connect, and collaborate on burning issues that our industry is facing today.  National Advisory Group in-person event will offer: 

  • Retail Innovation Tour

    Visit retail stores offering something new/different in the immediate area of the event. Innovation is all around us, join these tours to get a sense of what excellence and opportunity looks like in the field.

  • Networking

    Getting to know your peers and partners is what NAG is all about. Each day of the NAG annual event will offer specific times to meet new people and to connect with long standing friends.

  • Info Exchange: Retail Leaders Exchange

    Retail attendee's of the NAG annual conference will have an opportunity to participate in an open forum with their non-competing peers from other regions. A Retail Leaders Exchange is not open to media or supplier participants. Lead by a volunteer from the group, the topics for discussion are identified by first asking the group "what's on your mind."

  • Burning Issues Sessions

    Burning Issues are a key component of all NAG events. In these plenary style sessions, all attendees will learn about how a fellow retailer is handling a challenge in their business today. Attendees should expect the Burning Issue sessions to be tailored to topics for rising leaders.

  • Info Exchange: Burning Issue Exchange

    Keeping in line with issues we all face in the industry, the Burning Issue Exchange is where small groups will gather in an open forum format to share ideas, challenges, and support for the shared experience around one specific topic. The issues may overlap with the Burning Issues Session topics, but not always. Sponsors are encouraged to attend Burning Issue Exchange.
