Events Overview

YEO in-person events are designed exclusively for rising leaders of the convenience and fuel retailing industry.  Each event is hosted by a National Advisory Group member company and is made up of four key components: 

  • Store Tours

    Visit the top performing stores in the immediate area of the event to get a sense of what excellence and opportunity looks like in the field.

  • Give Back Outing

    In partnership with the host retailer, attendees will learn more about how convenience retailers are making a difference in their own back yard. Roll up your sleeves and give back on this fun and fulfilling off-site.

  • Burning Issues Session

    Burning Issues are a key component of all YEO and NAG events. In these plenary style sessions, all attendees will learn about how a fellow retailer is handling a challenge in their business today. YEO attendees should expect the Burning Issue sessions to be tailored to topics for rising leaders.

  • Info Exchange:Burning Issue Exchange

    Keeping in line with issues we all face in the industry, the Burning Issue Exchange is where small groups will gather in an open forum format to share ideas, challenges, and support for the shared experience around one specific topic. The issues may overlap with the Burning Issues Session topics, but not always. Sponsors are encouraged to participate in Burning Issue Exchange.
